Air Retention
2 Questions
01Do I need to keep the pump running after inflation?

Not with our sealed-air PVC model. Its heat-sealed seams allow you to disconnect the pump after inflation. When correctly inflated and maintained, it can retain its shape for extended periods. Avoid sharp objects and prolonged direct sun. Important: the Oxford Lite configuration may use a continuous blower, so check the model you are purchasing.

02Will the tent leak air?

Our sealed-air enclosures undergo airtightness checks before shipping. They are designed to hold air during normal use, though changes in temperature and pressure can require occasional top-ups. If a valve becomes loose, it may be possible to tighten it using the appropriate tool instead of replacing the enclosure.

Material & Durability
3 Questions
03What material is the enclosure made of? What's the thickness?

The specified PVC configuration combines 0.6 mm PVC-coated fabric with Oxford fabric for durable, rain-resistant construction. The impact screen uses double-layer heavy-duty hitting fabric designed for golf-ball impacts. Materials differ by model; confirm the exact specifications on the product page.

04How long does it last?

The enclosure is designed for a service life of 3 years or more with normal care. Actual longevity depends on weather, storage, frequency of use and maintenance. Protect it from sharp surfaces and extended UV exposure, dry it before packing, and check seams and fabric regularly.

05How do you reduce ball rebound?

The extended surrounding air columns and double-layer heavy-duty impact fabric are designed to help absorb impact and reduce bounce-back. Rebound cannot be eliminated completely. Use a screen rated for your ball speeds, leave the recommended impact clearance, and keep spectators outside the hitting zone.

Equipment
10 Questions
06What equipment goes inside the enclosure?

A complete mobile simulator setup typically includes a projector, launch monitor, hitting mat, simulator software, golf clubs and balls. You can source the equipment individually or contact Golfort about a complete kit. Confirm compatibility and space requirements before buying.

07What projector should I use? What brightness level?

For many setups, we suggest a projector rated around 4,000 ANSI lumens or higher. For brighter indoor venues or partially shaded outdoor areas, consider 5,000+ ANSI lumens. Check throw ratio, mounting distance, screen size and ambient light too; lumen ratings alone do not guarantee image quality.

08How does the projector mount inside?

The specified enclosure configuration provides a top mounting point for a compatible projector bracket. Before installation, confirm the mounting hardware, projector weight limit and throw distance with our team. Secure all cables so they cannot enter the swing path.

09Can I see the screen clearly outdoors during the day?

Bright daylight reduces projected-image contrast. We recommend a shaded or covered area, or additional shade flaps where supported. For daytime outdoor use, a projector rated 5,000+ ANSI lumens may help, but direct sunlight can still wash out the image.

10What does a launch monitor do?

A launch monitor measures or estimates shot information such as ball speed, launch angle, spin and carry distance. It is the core tracking device in the simulator and plays a major role in how realistic the ball-flight feedback feels.

11Which launch monitors do you recommend?

Options to consider include SkyTrak, FlightScope Mevo+ and Garmin Approach R10. Golfort does not require a particular brand. We can help you compare models based on your budget, available room depth, tracking needs and software preferences.

12Are launch monitors accurate indoors?

Yes, but performance depends on the specific device, correct placement and available ball-flight distance. Some radar-based models can benefit from metallic ball stickers or Titleist RCT balls for indoor spin measurements, subject to the manufacturer's guidance. Camera-based devices such as SkyTrak often work well where space is limited.

13Is a hitting mat necessary?

Yes, we strongly recommend one. A proper hitting mat provides a more realistic turf feel and helps reduce shock compared with striking off a hard floor. It also gives you a stable stance and a consistent hitting surface.

14How do I choose a hitting mat?

Choose a professional-grade mat with sufficient thickness, stable backing and good impact absorption. A resilient or layered construction can make repeated swings more comfortable. Prioritize how the mat performs over a turf-like appearance alone.

15What size hitting mat do I need?

We recommend at least 1.5 × 1.5 m (approximately 5 × 5 ft) for a comfortable stance and swing. A larger mat can offer more flexibility for left- and right-handed players if your space permits.

Dimensions & Space
3 Questions
16What are the dimensions?

The reference Pro configuration measures 4 m deep × 3 m wide × 3 m high (approximately 13.1 × 9.8 × 9.8 ft). Golfort offers additional sizes; please check the dimensions of the exact model you select.

17How much space do I need?

For the 4 × 3 × 3 m enclosure, start with a flat area of around 4.5 × 3.5 m and a ceiling high enough for the full enclosure and safe overhead clearance. A nominal 3 m ceiling leaves no extra room above a 3 m unit. Check your own club-swing path and the launch monitor's required depth before ordering.

18How many people can it hold?

It is designed as one spacious hitting bay for one active player at a time. Other people should wait outside the striking area and safely behind the golfer, rather than standing beside the screen during a shot.

Setup & Transport
2 Questions
19How long does setup take?

Inflation of the specified model takes about 5 minutes under suitable conditions. Allow roughly 10–15 minutes for complete setup, including positioning, anchoring and getting the screen ready. One person can handle much of the process, although extra help makes positioning easier.

20How much does it weigh?

The quoted package weight for this configuration is approximately 50.5 kg (111 lb), including the box. We recommend two people for lifting or transporting it safely. Weights vary with size and included accessories.

Outdoor Use
3 Questions
21Can I use it in the rain?

The enclosure has rain-resistant materials and can tolerate light rain or passing showers when correctly secured. Stop play during heavy rain, thunderstorms or strong wind. Keep projectors, monitors and other electrical equipment protected from moisture.

22What about wind?

Use the provided straps and anchoring accessories on a suitable surface, following the setup guidance. Do not assume anchoring makes the enclosure safe in severe weather. If winds become strong or gusty, stop using the enclosure and take it down.

23Does it need shade outdoors?

A shaded or covered location is recommended. Extended direct sun exposure can accelerate aging of PVC materials and reduce long-term service life. Shade also improves projected-screen visibility.
